The Blank Commitment to Fight Ovarian Cancer
Blank Quilting created The Inspiration Guild as a charitable effort to raise funds for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC). The original program invites quilters to submit a 12" x 12" block using Blank fabric. Each quilt consists of 81 - 12" x 12" blocks sewn together into one large scrappy quilt. Blank donates $1 to the NOCC for each block received. To date we have over 38 full size quilts. Every quilt created by the Inspiration Guild bears the name of someone touched by ovarian cancer: a caregiver, victim, a survivor, a fighter.
Additionally, Blank offers 4 Inspiration collections featuring the “cause” teal and blending hues. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these fabrics go to the NOCC.
Blank also created the Bundles of Hope program, accepting mini-quilts and projects made from Inspiration Collection fat quarter bundles. Proceeds from the sale of these bundles are also donated to the NOCC.
